I’m a Texas-based, award-winning writer, brand storyteller, strategist, and author with over a decade of experience crafting narratives across editorial, culture, hospitality, music, and consumer brands.

My work has appeared in major publications including Rolling Stone, Men’s Journal, Essence, ADWEEK, Harper's BAZAAR, and other international outlets, where I’ve covered music, identity, creativity, hospitality, and the evolving relationship between audience and culture.

Beyond editorial, I’ve led brand voice and narrative strategy for festival and cultural platforms, including ID&T’s Mysteryland USA, Elements Music & Arts Festival, and Amsterdam’s Our House Museum, shaping storytelling across campaigns, digital platforms, and audience-facing brand experiences.

I’ve also operated as lead copywriter for conversion-focused lifestyle and consumer brands, including Kids2’s Ingenuity and bacan Guaro, developing product narratives, landing pages, and commerce-driven editorial designed to deepen engagement and drive purchase intent.

In addition to client and editorial work, I’ve moderated two SXSW panels: Social Issues Gain Voice at Point of Purchase (2023) and The Spirit of Women: Sexism and Gender Equity in Whiskey (2024).

In 2022, I received the International Wine & Spirit Competition Award for Emerging Talent in Spirits Communication and have been nominated three times for the Spirited Awards in Best Cocktail & Spirits Writing.

My debut book, Stuff Every Whiskey Lover Should Know, will be published on September 15, 2026, through Quirk Books.

Hi, I’m Gabrielle!
