Albert Hammond Jr. on ‘Francis Trouble,’ Self-Exploration & Life Experience

When it comes to blessing an audience with dynamic showmanship, Albert Hammond Jr.’s solo stage presence is distinctly one for the record books. Computer Magic, aka Danz, Turns Sci-Fi Into Music

No matter what you call her, the Brooklyn-based musician’s sound is inspired, unique, and entirely her own. That’s the type of sound you experience with Madrid-based band, Hinds. Since making its debut last summer, Hinds—consisting of Ana Perrote, Carlotta Cosials, Ade Martin, and Amber Grimbergen—have created a lo-fi, garage rock sound that gives a nod to ‘60s surf rock while maintaining modernity with an edge.

The “Strange Desire” of Bleachers

Bleachers, Jack Antonoff from fun.’s latest solo project, is the ‘80s band New Order– but with more eccentricity. Jack and his band filmed the video for “Rollercoaster” atop a moving ice cream truck. This qualifies as eccentric. “Rollercoaster” is a single part of Bleachers’ debut album, Strange Desire, which was released in July on RCA Records.
